Floor Project - Day 3

We got a LOT accomplished today. Finished the dining room, kitchen and breakfast area. Chris has two more boards to lay down in the entry from the garage and the pantry, he was exhausted and it was too dark to see where to cut when we quit. We also moved everything out of the playroom and back into the dining room. Today was the most difficult day and we chose to do it first because of the number of angled cuts, tomorrow is all straight lines and very few cuts so it should go rather quickly.

After our vacation I still need to pick up costers to go under the feet of the furniture, a dining room rug and a runner for the hallway as well as all of the quarter round to do the trim work. We are well on our way and it looks gorgeous. I'm really excited about it!!

I was joking with Chris that nobody would believe I did any of the work since I took all of the pictures and thus wasn't in any of them. So here I am working on the dining room.
